CASASTORE CATALOG OF APPLICATION
The city of Casablanca continues its opening on the digital by relying on the Local Development Company (SDL) Casablanca Prestation. Created in December 2014 at the initiative of the local authorities of Casablanca, this SDL piloted the study of the implementation of the SDTN (Master Plan of Digital Transformation) of Greater Casablanca with the contribution of expert firms. This SDTN resulted in the launch of a portfolio of short and medium term projects.
CasaStore platform
CasaStore is one of the first fruits of the realization of this Master Plan of Digital Transformation of Grand Casablanca. It is a web platform dedicated to the presentation of mobile and web applications that concern the city of Casablanca.
This platform, whose official launch is scheduled for April 18, 2018, is the first of its kind in the kingdom. It is based on a participative approach, and aims to make the citizen a major player in the development of the city. Thus, CasaStore is primarily intended for members of the new technologies, in order to propose applications and novelties that could facilitate the lives of the citizens of Casablanca.
However, CasaStore is not exclusive to geeks. It is open and free to all lovers of new technologies that could see in this site a way to get Casablanca in the ranks of smart cities. CasaStore offers a space for sharing and exchange, where developers, members of new technologies meet, and casablancais in general to exchange their opinions and events that are in the center of interest of the community.
How does it work ?
Three types of users can use the CasaStore platform: Visitors, users, and developers.
The visitor profile does not require any authentication, which makes the initial access to the pages of the web platform accessible to all Internet users. Nevertheless, the actions that a visitor can perform are limited to searching and viewing the content of the proposed applications, reading the blog articles, and finally accessing the calendar of events.
The second type of users, named "CasaStore user", allows, in addition, to participate in the activities of the platform and also to evaluate the content. This involves creating a "user" account. Authentication can be done by entering personal information or through access from social networks such as Facebook or Google.
Thus a user can propose events that are related to new technologies, provided that they take place in the city of Casablanca. The user can also offer articles that deal with new technologies. These articles must be written by the user submitting them, otherwise they must contain the source / reference of the editor.
It should be noted that articles and events proposed by users are subject to moderation prior to their publication. Indeed, the CasaStore moderators systematically check the content of the publications sent by the user, to verify their compliance with the charter of use of the web platform. At the same time the moderators receive the possible reports of abuse. The reports are made by users and developers, in order to make them participate in the respect of the ethical rules and charter of the web platform. The CasaStore user can also rate, or comment on articles and applications offered by other users, and also share their content in social networks.
The last type of user for the CasaStore platform is the developers. It is a CasaStore user who enjoys the same rights as a normal user, with the possibility in addition to propose new applications and put them online on the platform. This type of profile will encourage web and mobile application developers to offer their products for download and use by other users and visitors to the CasaStore platform.
The applications put online by developers are also subject to moderation, to verify first that their content is relevant to the city of Casablanca, but also that they are complete and ready to be used.

In this logic, CasaStore encourages Citizens and Professionals to participate as much as possible, and to engage in the activities of the platform, by awarding them badges, in order to distinguish very active users and developers from those who are less so. This will only have a positive impact on the quality of the services offered by the user community through the promotion of a sustainable ecosystem.
CASA MDINTI OR THE CITIZEN APP
With the application Casa Mdinti ("Casa my city"), the inhabitants of casablanca can now participate in the daily cleanliness of their city, at any time, from their mobile phone. This interactive tool makes it possible to file a complaint and to follow the treatment in real time, to request an intervention, to share an idea of improving the services, to know the circuits and the schedules of collection, to obtain practical information and even ecological advice.

CASABLANCA AND ITS TRAMWAY
Another application to put in his favorites: Casa Tramway, for traveling easily by tram. The mobile interface provides access to an interactive map of the network, the possibility of viewing its route, the hours of passage of the trains and the location of ticket sales points.
Equipped with free wifi, this ideal mode of transport for your trips in the city will allow you to cross neighborhoods quickly, enjoying an original view of Casablanca.
In 2019, it already contains two lines T1 and T2, with a global path of 47.5 km and 71 stations.
Two new lines T3 and T4 are planned for 2022 for a total path of 26 km and 38 passenger stations.
