Wecasablanca Festival

Wecasablanca Festival is back and is getting ready to make the White City vibrate to the rhythm of a fabulous mix of Moroccan music. From October 21st to 24th, Wecasablanca Festival will take over the brand-new Velodrome Park and invites the people of Casablanca to 4 days of colorful and diverse musical celebrations, carried by beautiful Moroccan voices.

This event, to be experienced in person and live on the social networks of Wecasablanca, will be an opportunity to meet again after a health crisis and restrictions that lasted almost two years. This high point launches the 2021 cultural season and above all marks an anniversary. It was indeed on October 24, 2016 that the territorial brand Wecasablanca was launched, an affirmation of the identity of Casablanca and its inhabitants but also the standard of a strategy of attractiveness and inclusion supported, in particular, by an active promotion of culture and sport in the metropolis.

To celebrate this anniversary as it should be, the program had to be rich and diversified. And it is indeed the case. The artistic line of the festival takes its roots in the DNA of Casablanca to make it an intergenerational event intimately linked to the plural identity of Casablanca. The Velodrome Park will be taken by storm by big stars, essential representatives of the national music, and new voices that ignite the younger generations, blowing a wind of renewal and creativity on the Moroccan art scene. Thus, this festive moment will also be a vibrant tribute to all the talents of Morocco. Transmitted throughout the world via social networks, Wecasablanca Festival will also participate in making them shine internationally.

To make sure you don't miss anything, block your dates from October 21 to 24 and stay tuned to discover a program that has many surprises in store for you.

Halloween kills

Laurie Strode, her daughter Karen and her granddaughter Allyson have just abandoned the monster with the famous mask, locked in the basement of the house devoured by the flames. Seriously wounded, Laurie is transported in urgency to the Hospital, with the certainty that she has finally got rid of the one who has always harassed her. But Michael Myers manages to get out of the trap where Laurie had locked him up and his ritual blood bath starts again. Overcoming her pain to prepare to face him once again, she will inspire the entire town to follow her lead and rise up to exterminate this indestructible scourge. The three generations of women join forces with a handful of survivors of the first massacre, and take matters into their own hands by forming a militia organized around the hunting and destruction of the monster once and for all. Evil dies tonight. - Mégarama

The adventure of the search begins with Jad, Hamdan and his wife Rukia, who try to intercept a series of difficulties, in a comical setting - Mégarama

Rosumat, l’imaginaire hispanique dans les dessins d'artistes marocains

"Rosumat, the Hispanic imagination in the drawings of Moroccan artists" is a free, creative and especially personal look of 12 Moroccan artists to the Hispanic culture from the comic strip and the illustration. Several themes are addressed by Moroccan artists in this graphic adventure around the Hispanic world, from the influence of Don Quixote in the collective imagination to the presence of Spanish and its influence on the Moroccan dialect "darija", through the impact of Hispanic music and literature on contemporary Moroccan culture. To this thematic diversity is added another of a graphic nature, which gives this project a richness in connection with what is currently happening in the young Moroccan scene of comics and illustration."

Pacto de fuga

" If Eva has bitten the apple and condemned humanity, in this piece the three performers seek to put an end to this feminine condemnation.
Women have always been, in a way, the zero point of all the evils of the earth. This creation is based on the strength of a verse in the voice of Doña Concha Piquer as the starting point of this exciting encounter that is Pacto de Fuga.
A story of revelation, servitude and liberation, which flows naturally into an energetic, vital and powerful dance. No more rotten apples."

The Addams Family 2

Sequel to the 2019 animated version of The Addams Family. The most adorably dreadful family of them all returns to the screens for the continuation of their first adventures with The Addams Family 2. In this all-new episode, the Addams Family will find themselves entangled in completely crazy adventures, made of zany situations, facing characters with disarming naivety. Whatever happens, always faithful to their values, the Addams Family will not fail to bring its touch of strangeness and weirdness.
