CINEMAS AND THEATERS
The main cinemas of the city are the Megarama complex on the Corniche, the Imax Cinema of the Morocco Mall, the Lynx cinema in the Mers Sultan district, the splendid Cinema ABC on the Boulevard Mohammed V (including live broadcast of the ballets of the Opéra National de Paris), the Cinema Ritz located near the Place des Nations, the Cinema Rif housed avenue des FAR (program including "The ballet in the cinema" with retransmission of Bolshoi ballets and "theater theater" live of the Comédie-Française),
For the magic of the place, we recommend a visit to the Rialto theater theater, architectural jewel of 1930 in the same street as the Cinema Ritz.
Casablanca also has theaters: the Mohammed VI national theater in the Belvedere district, the FOL theater (Lay Arts Federation) in Gauthier, the cultural complex of Sidi Belyout, as well as the Studio des Arts Vivants and its Gallery 38 (auditorium , exhibition space and multidisciplinary teaching center: singing, dancing, etc.).
Casablanca's grand theater, CasArts, will be one of the largest cultural centers in Africa. It is located on the Place Mohammed V and its work will end in 2018. Of international scope, this multidisciplinary space is dedicated to the performing arts (theater, dance, music, etc.), the promotion of art and Moroccan artists and the residency organization for artists from all over the world.

Casablanca Art Deco
Casablanca is a laboratory city, a city that was a place of experimentation for many architects. A city where art-deco meets Arab-Moorish art has given birth to a rare and even unique architecture unique to Casablanca. A small stroll through the city center will put you in the presence of this particular architecture.
Thus, every time your gaze is on the facade of a building, you begin to glimpse the wealth and extent of the modern heritage of the city. Discover the Casablanca Art Deco picture by clicking here.

From the streets to the galleries…
If walls have ears, we know that in Casablanca, they have beauty marks! Tags, wild drawings and wall frescoes often play around with stereotypes and catch the eye, in the back alley of Mers Sultan street, in the heart of the Europe roundabout. From the old medina to the Anfa boulevard, all the way to the “hospitals district”, the talent of street artists is on display for everyone to see. The local scene is in its early stages, but some trials have definitely given rise to some masterpieces. Whether they are graduates of Casablanca’s art school, “l’Ecole de Beaux-Arts” or international artists passing through for a festival, the artists tell the city’s story through its most representative characters. Children, old ladies and street vendors from the imagination of solo or collective artists now adorn the walls just like pages out of a comic book, made in Casablanca.
You will quickly notice that culture in general and the arts in particular are highly valued in Casablanca. Since 1956, the city has been the home to one of the nation’s two art schools, a stone’s throw away from its future grand theater in the extension of the Arab League park. In the past twenty years, several galleries have opened in the metropolis and a movement of promoting national creative work, led by great benefactors and large corporations, has contributed to showcasing local artists. If you’re so inclined, head out to the galleries and showrooms to meet artists and their masterpieces. La maison des artistes, the first artists’ platform in Morocco, references all of the artists and galleries in Casablanca.
