Anfa Park

Anfa Park

Located in the heart of the new Casa Anfa district, the park, currently spread over 18 hectares, offers beautiful walks in vegetated areas and several playgrounds for children and adults. Here is a short guided tour.
1 -The water games Head to the intersection of Sidi Abderrahmane Boulevard and Sidi Abdellah Ben Cherif Boulevard to discover this new “green” space located in the historic site of the former Anfa Airport. As soon as you cross the gate, you can discover gravelled promenades, bordered by groves of flowers. This new appointment in the city allows you to enjoy a nice walk with your family. The park has several water features, such as a fountain with choreographed jets and a canal that stretches for 400 meters along the park. Also, noteworthy is the presence of misters and taps to cool off in case of high temperatures. With its dirt paths and its 1.5 km long jogging circuit, it is a bit of a jogger’s paradise !
2 - Sports areas The park also has several small workout areas scattered along the route for cardio training, stretching and street-workouts machines.
3 – Playgrounds The real asset of the park resides in the presence of 4 playgrounds made in order to occupy children, from the youngest to the oldest, from 3 years old and up.. Those playgrounds include slides, climbing games, swings, colored rubber floors… With its large and secure areas sheltered from the sun, one could even be jealous ! The older ones may benefit from the creation of a huge skatepark of 5000 m2, which is already the meeting point of teenagers. We can say that it is 100% adopted when seeing them sliding and evolving boards in hand. Otherwise, we also appreciate the presence of 3 petanque courts for lively games under the sun.
4 - Green spaces :
No large open grass fields (for the moment), but you can find clay walking paths lined with flowers and shrubs (ideal for strollers). It is only a matter of time for trees to grow and to eventually enjoy more shade and greenery. However, stopping on a bench in front of the flowering groves allows you to enjoy a green and soothing interlude ! Anfa Park – Sidi Abderrahmane et boulevard Sidi Abdellah Ben Cherif boulevards intersection, Casa Anfa district– Open and completely free from Monday till Sunday From 6 am to 8 pm.
